All lab diamonds are the same?
No. Just because two lab diamonds received the same 4Cs grading does not mean they will look the same. There are a number of nascent diamond growers around the globe contributing to an abundant supply of bad lab diamonds. Therefore these diamonds are grown quickly and cheaply and then sold on budget eCommerce sites to unsuspecting members of the public. Ugly lab diamonds cannot sell through discerning luxury retailers like us. Here at Raphana Jewellery, our Lab-grown diamonds are as real as diamonds mined from the earth. They have the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as mined diamonds and exhibit the same fire, scintillation, sparkle and are just as hard 10 Moh's scale. We have relationships with the best growing facilities worldwide and do not buy from low quality producers.

Lab-Grown diamonds have the same crystal structure as Diamond
Lab Grown diamonds have the same crystal structure as mined diamonds: carbon atoms arranged in a cubic crystal structure. High quality lab diamonds have the same optical and physical properties as natural earth-mined diamonds. Therefore the growth procedure is similar to natural diamond growth, there are still variations in the colour and clarity of lab-created diamonds. In other words, not all lab-grown diamonds is colourless and flawless. Laboratory-created diamonds are graded on the same criteria as mined diamonds (the 4C's), by the same independent gemological laboratories that grade earth-extracted diamonds.

When compared to mined diamonds, lab diamonds offered by Raphana have indistinguishable brilliance, scintillation, flash, and fire. Trained gemologists can only tell the difference between our and natural diamonds with specialized laboratory equipment machines.
