Jewellery remodelling is about taking an existing piece of jewellery and putting even more love into it.

We take your existing jewellery and create a design to suit your style. The perfect solution for up cycling jewellery gifted, inherited, or just dug out of a drawer. We are jewellery remodel specialists managing everything in our Auckland workshops from antique jewellery to engagement rings and providing practical advice on what is and isn’t possible.

Step 1

Jewellery Evaluation

Get in touch and let us know about your (their) jewellery, style, and what you have in mind. We guide you through remodelling your piece, and provide practical advice on what is and isn’t possible and give you an idea of timescales. You may want to drop in for a cup of tea and to show us your jewellery. It's all very relaxed.

Step 2 so

Design Discussion

To commission us, there is a retainer of NZ$300 (forming part of the overall project costs). Commissions usually begin a finalised brief and then us presenting design concepts. So explaining adjustments based on your brief, to ensure you are happy with the remodelling direction and designs. We love face to face, but in these times also use video as well as pinterest and other tools to nail down preferences.

Step 3

Project Commences

Once you are happy with the concepts, for simple projects we get cracking, and for more complex we will start model making to produce the piece. We might use CAD and hand carving depending on the piece of jewelry.  

Step 4 jewellery remake repair and redesign

Jewellery making

When we have final sign-off from you, your old piece is carefully dismantled, and incorporated into your new piece. Our goldsmith's understand the cutting edge as well as the traditional skills, ensuring every result is a piece of jewelry you are going to want to wear, a lot.

Great Auckland services include resizing, rhodium plating, jewelry remodelling, silver, gold 9k, 10k, 14k, 18k, 22k and 24k and platinum: chain, clasp repair, small diamonds or gems band replacement. 

 

What we can offer. so

Before Remodelling:

Yellow and white gold very classic three stone. ( Owner still want three stone ring but more modern) and white gold only using the same gold & stones. 

After remade :

Professionally polishing the diamonds, melting the gold and adding more gold, nickel and palladium with our GIA certified master jeweller designer, the owner was amazed with the details.
